They will be restricted to characters who can wield them in the main campaign, unfortunately.
That's a bit of a bummer, but it's still great to see that you are working hard at the level editor. Can't wait for it to be released!

5. As long as the character you're using fights the faction on the Campaign, you'll be able to use it. You can use two factions at the same time as well (based on alpha ver.)

If a character can't use all of their weapons against every enemy type they can fight, that might make weapon spawns (including random weapon spawns) a bit troublesome. The weapons you could place would have to depend on which enemy type they were currently fighting. Also, wasn't the Son able to fight guards and Colombians in Blood Money? Will he still be able to fight guards and Colombians at the same time, or only separately?Two more things I forgot to ask about:1. Does the cutscene editor allow nonessential interactions? For example, a newspaper you could read if you wanted, but not necessary to end the level.2. Will there be idle enemies, like the ones who are sitting down or smoking? I'm not sure how much work they'd be to add, but they do a lot to make a level feel realistic.
Also, since you can't remember off the top of your head, I'll just ask... - Does Willem still let you "rip and steal?" - Does Oscar still cause the red and black filter? - Does Jones still give more gore?The only masks which I couldn't imagine getting their powers back would be Rasmus and Phil.

There's a few kinks with the cutscene editor that need work, and playing through an entire custom campaign is very much WIP. Then there's a bunch of smaller things that need to be addressed and bug tested. And I'm sure there's a couple of things I'm missing.
Thanks for the quick update, it certainly re-added some fuel to the hype train!I noticed the "set level borders" option in the tabs, I assume this is to manually set the size of the level. Since this is an option, will we be able to produce floors in size rivaling Stronghold, Casualties, or Takeover? And with placing items and decals, will there be an item limit for optimization purposes? Again, thanks for all of the hard work, hopefully you'll be able to take a break soon! ;)
Yes, you manually set the borders. The levels can be as big as the area you see in the screenshot, basically. Perhaps bigger in a future update.We haven't placed any limits on anything afaik, so keeping things running smoothly will be up to the player. I don't think arbitrary constrictions is the way to go.Yeah, definitely looking forward to taking a break after this thing is done! :)

It's pretty certainly legal to use custom music in a level editor ( And in worst cases I think the level would just be taken down ) and it would make the level editor even better.Maybe you could add a "List of used musics" that you would have to fill with the tracks and the artists' names if you use custom music and that would show up in the credits and the level's description?
If you can provide any documents with hard facts regarding the use of custom music, I can pass it along to Devolver and ask what they think about it. An alternative for us would be adding offline custom music.

I just have a couple of questions.1) Is there a limit to how many floors/rooms there can be on a level.2) Can you add more levels into a campaign. Like say if I have several levels completed and ready to be added, but I want to put more in at a later date.3) I know the answer will most-likely be "Not telling" or something like that but I got to ask anyway. You know, for the community. Any hints for that secret character? Literally the first letter would be enough. Anyway, keep it going. I found this website on music publishing and licensing as I heard that you were having problems on see if custom music could be used. Might as well take a look: http://www.licensequote.com/mlq/music_license_quote.htmlAlso, I know this may not be possible, but you could ask some of the music owners that you've worked with in the past to see if they would allow users to use some of their other music in the level editor. Though the users may have to get the songs themselves, as it would be adding music that they own to be put in a game without receiving any sort of money. But it couldn't hurt to ask.

Are there plans to add a new soundtrack to the editor, like some other unused songs by M|O|O|N or Perturbator, for example? Or maybe some free songs on Bandcamp?idk, it's just a wild idea.
I also have a question regarding the random weapon spawn. Will you be able to disable some certain weapons, like the pan with boiling water? It would be a bit weird to find one of those on the floor, or in a room with no kitchen.

Yeah I don't think they are teenagers in the comics they seem like adults.
The teenagers aren't from the comics, man. The comic tells about a normal house that was raided by the Pigbutcher.A prove from that is that the house has 3-4 people, while in-game has 6, 7 if you count our dreaming actor, Martin Brown.

He kinda already asked that. He said that, for this to happen, you have to remake the place you will make the switch, but adding and removing some things that will make your scene change into a "movie" (like in the scene "Caught").
